Lethal Rhythm
A fictional novel written by, Peter R. Kowey, M.D. with Marion L. Fox
Dr. Kowey and Ms. Fox wrote Lethal Rhythm to help the public understand the frustrating truths about how the current tort system deals with medical care. Doctors who have been sued or who have witnessed the collapse of their colleagues under the infuriating and often unfair system of litigation, naturally approach their patients differently – if they decide to remain in medicine at all. The hope is that this book will stimulate a real and tangible change in the medical malpractice system, both for the good of the profession and most importantly, for all patients everywhere. A portion of the proceeds from book sales will be donated to the SADS Foundation. Visit
http://lethalrhythm.net/
or you can find Lethal Rhythm on Facebook.
My Aunt Bonnie

Kara Mia
Kara Mia is a moving story about Kara Anglim, who had a cardiac arrest at age 14 while running track, with neurologic complications. She was subsequently diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome. This book is a beautiful story of courage, strength and faith, and the ability of the human spirit to rise above and grow from the challenges and hurdles which are placed into the lives of many of us. It was written by Kara's mother, Maryann Anglim, R.N., B.S.N., and Walter Allan, M.D., a child neurologist.
