The SADS Foundation recognizes great strength in sharing commonalities. Here the SADS Foundation has created a space to share stories of personal experiences with SADS conditions. Whether you have lost someone to a SADS condition or you yourself are living and thriving with a SADS condition, we hope you find these stories both comforting and inspiring.

Healing Wall in honor of the living
Healing Wall in memory of those who have passed away
Establishing a fund at the SADS Foundation in honor of someone living and thriving with a SADS condition, or a memorial fund for someone who has passed away, is a meaningful way to honor and remember your loved one while making a difference. It is also a simple way for friends and family to make contributions to the ongoing work of the SADS Foundation.
In honor of funds:
Establishing a fund for someone who is living and thriving with Long QT or another SADS Foundation is a celebration of life. A link to this fund can be put in e-mails, on your facebook page, can be used for birthday celebrations, anniversaries or any other occasion.
Memorial funds:
When someone we love, know or care about has died we often express our sentiment with a gift in that person’s name as a remembrance. Often offered in lieu of flowers, gifts to a SADS memorial fund can have a long lasting effect as SADS pursues its mission of supporting families and saving lives. If you or someone you know is dealing with the death of someone dear and would like to establish a SADS Memorial Fund, please understand that the process is as simple as a phone call or email. We will discuss your wishes and handle the administrative services of the fund for you.
How it works:
We need the name of the person to be honored and designation if it is a fund in honor of someone (living), or in memory of someone (deceased)
We offer wording for announcements, and can change them as time goes on.
If appropriate, we will ask for a copy of the obituary or where we may find it
We need an address to send the names of those who give so that you may acknowledge their kindness.
We provide a thank-you letter to donors
