We Have Heart! Social/Support Group in LA
Event Date: 03/16/2013
Event Time: 2:00 p.m.
Event Location:
Encino, CA (exact address to be specified after you RSVP)
First support/social group for local folks who can understand life with SADS conditions. Chat, eat, drink and have fun! Family, kids and your support team are invited as well.
This is the first support group & social event Bridget is hosting for those with SADS, such as Long QT Sydrome, Brugada's Syndrome, or anyone with an ICD.
Bridget is starting this event as she would love the chance to get to know some local folks who can understand life with an ICD. The group can chat, eat, drink and have fun! A time to get together, get to know one another and share tips, insights and questions.
For the first group, guests could all go around and tell their stories. Maybe for future meetings, guests can have topics of discussion or speakers? Bridget is open to suggestions.
Bridget would like people to feel free to bring their spouse/family/support system if they would like. She encourages those who support us to attend, as they can hear other stories and maybe learn way to best support their loved one. Kids are welcome too, if you feel comfortable with them being a part of the conversation.
Any questions? Email Bridget at
lilmissbridget@gmail.com
or PM here on FB. Hope it's a great turnout!
P.S. - Bridget will provide drinks and some basic snacks. It would be great if everyone could all contribute, pot luck style. When you RSVP, please let Bridget know what you plan on bringing. Everything & anything is welcome.
Please send Bridget your email address, so she can send you the specific address for the meeting place. It will be at Bridget's home in Encino, California.
Looking forward to it!
