Casey May Whitney

I lost my beautiful daughter, Casey May Whitney, at the tender age of 14. Her unexpected death has left a hole in my heart that will never be filled completely again. Casey never displayed any symptoms of heart issues, and was a healthy, active teenager that was a cheerleader, photographer, sister and friend.
Casey's last day consisted of a normal day at school, followed by a dance competition in the evening. After that, she made herself a sandwich and went on the computer to chat with her friends. I told her to be in bed by 10. At 10:27 she was found collapsed on the floor, not breathing. After CPR, and the paramedics arriving she was unable to be saved. The autopsy stated "probable heart arrhythmia". No other explanations have been provided. She will be forever missed.
