SADS Safe Schools & SCA Awareness Month--Get Involved!

September is time for the S ADS Safe Schools campaign!!
Every year we work to increase the public's awareness of conditions that can cause sudden cardiac death in young people. With the help of our volunteers we have made great progress making schools and communities around the country aware of these heart conditions and their warning signs.

The SADS Safe Schools campaign provides an invaluable opportunity to get the word out, promote awareness nation- wide and help save lives. With your help, we can create SADS Safe Schools in every state and make our communities safer for those with SADS conditions.

October is National Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month

Each year over 250,000 people will die from sudden cardiac arrest. Last year the United States Congress took action and declared October Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month and SADS couldn't be happier about it! This month of awareness about SCA will complement our own SADS Safe Schools Month , aimed at increasing public awareness of the warning signs of SADS and promoting SADS Safe Schools. Over the past year we have worked closely with the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Coalition and reached out to you to encourage you to contact your representatives and ask for support of the resolution—and they came through! We can not thank you enough for your efforts.

Now we have to get to work to make SCA Awareness month a success. Help promote SADS and SCA Awareness by ordering our new gold pin and/or sticker decals** . They're great conversation starters!
