How you can help: Sponsor a Climber on Mt. Rainier!

This year we are asking you to sponsor a climber. Let them carry a flag with your family name on it to the summit!

• Rally your family to support a climber on the tallest mountain in the state of Washington! 
• Work with the SADS Foundation to identify the climber you will be partnered with 
• Enlist your friends and family to support your climber by creating your own fund-raising web-page
• Once your goal of $1,000 has been met, a flag with your family’s name will be given to your climber to take to the top
• Photos of your climber and your flag will be sent to you after the Climb – a wonderful keepsake

 We would like the emphasis of this year's climb to be all about creating a better connection between our SADS families and their representative climbers. By partnering climbers with SADS families, we're going to bring about greater awareness of life-threatening arrhythmias, showcase the foundation and the work we are able to do on your behalf, and hopefully raise some money toward our cause.

We are asking families to sponsor a climber in reaching the top this year. Sponsor families and climbers will trade short life stories and pictures, for the climbers to take with them to the summit and for the familes to keep, to remember what their climber did for them. Your climber will also carry your name with them to the top of Mt. Rainier. All climbers will be outfitted with flags bearing the name of their sponsor family, so you'll be headed up the mountain with them!

Sponsor families and climbers will also be fundraising partners. Once you determine how much money to raise from your friends, neighbors, and co-workers your climber will work to meet that goal with you. We will halp you set up a webpage on Firstgiving.com where anyone you know can click to find out more about your story and how the SADS Foundation helps families like yours. They can also see your fundraising goal and are able to donate online to help you reach that goal. Everyone can watch your fundraising progress as your climber progresses up the mountain.
