Question 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
My brother-in-law at age 55 recently and unexpectantly passed away. The ME said he found nothing wrong with his heart and his autopsy is under further review. Is it possible to suffer from sudden cardiac arrest and your heart not show any damage? At this time, our minds are trying to grasp any possibilities.
Thank you

I think that it is possible for it not to show. When my niece died the autopcy said that she died due to heart failure and that was it. But my sister and family needed to know more so she got all of her medical records(she had been fainting for 5 years and my sister was miss diagnosed with epilepcy) she compaired there ekgs and found that they both had prolonged QTs but the doctors never said anything. Your family needs to look at your brother in-laws passed medical records maybe there is an answer there.
