My insurance pre approved me for $600 at first because of the out of network thing. I gave the ok, so PGX Health did the test after we figured a payment plan. Now I find out my insurance company is paying $3600, needless to say I'm thrilled!!. Oh and I tested positive for a mutation. My company is BCBS of California. Dolores

Dolores, That's wonderful news! Did you have to write letters or do anything to get your insurance company to sign off on the higher payment?

I didn't really do anything ..I believe it may have been a letter of medical necessity my EP sent to the insurance company. I was pleasantly surprised when the check arrived!!
