Yes, I have had phantom shocks also. The nightmares actually seemed to be going away until a couple weeks ago, and that's when I had a phantom shock in the middle of the night and my anxiety levels just went through the roof after that. I started seeing a psychiatrist a two weeks ago and she put me on Atavan for anxiety. I take one or two pills a day, usually before bed. It seems to help so far, but I also don't want to be on medication for a long time. We'll see how it goes.
