I have a question and appreciate any info. I was genetically tested with LQ1. My two sons tested negative. I recently had a baby girl who is now six months old. Her EKG reading at birth and three months old were 469, 470. I recently took her to a pediatric cardiologist and her readings were 440, which he stated is normal for infants. He stressed at birth that he did not want an EKG completed because infant readings were naturally high, hence the 469 reading. I realize that the only definite answer is the genetic test, but my question is: Is it true that infants/newborns QT is not to be considered as a baseline because of unreliable readings ? Also, are girls Qt normally higher than males?I truly beleive that I received false "hope" info and just want to be reasuured. Thank you, thank you, thank you in advance!!!
