SADSConnect for Youth

This program is specially designed with the help of our Youth Panel Advisors.

The youth support program offers:

•  A letter to youth from youth in the family packet
  The letter includes examples of various youth's experience with a SADS diagnosis -  including those that are higher risk and those that are lower risk.

• Young Adult/Youth Advisors
  Contacts listed on our website that youth or parents can contact and ask about their experiences growing up with a SADS condition.

• Teen/Children Networking
  Children and teens can be connected with one another for support. (These connections require parental approval) Contact Anne@sads.org for more information.

• Website Living and Thriving Stories
  Stories about other children, teens, young adults, or adults experiences with a SADS diagnosis.  We also feature family members experiences who do not have a SADS diagnosis. You can post your own story and photo!

• Youth Focus at Seminars & Conferences
  Activities and classes just for youth at SADS seminars and conferences.  There are also opportunities for youth to participate in by sharing their story on a panel or round table discussion. See the photos from our 2012 International Conference.

• Youth Facebook Group
  Join SADS youth advisors in the Facebook group and say hi to each other “face to face”!.
