SADS Foundation Chosen for 2012 GreatNonprofits Top-Rated List
12/19/2012 - SADS Foundation Chosen for 2012 GreatNonprofits Top-Rated List
SALT LAKE CITY
- Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes (SADS) Foundation is proud to present its qualifications for the GreatNonprofits’ Top-Rated List of 2012!
The SADS Foundation is an organization dedicated to saving lives and supporting families of children and young adults who are predisposed to sudden death due to heart abnormalities. The Foundation provides information, support and hope to thousands of families with children living with the health threat and is a leader in education, research and advocacy for people with genetic heart arrhythmias that can cause sudden deaths.
GreatNonprofits is an organization that recognizes exemplary local charities that are making a difference in their communities. Winners hail from all 50 states and span all issue and category areas, and only less than one percent of eligible nonprofits have received this distinction.
“We are extremely honored to be chosen for the Top-Rated List again this year,” says VP of Development and Marketing Laura Wall. “It is important for us to recognize all of our staff members, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and other community supporters for all the hard work they’ve put in and the dedication that they’ve all shown for the SADS Foundation.”
