LQTS Quality of Life Research Study

Adults ages 18 years or older with a diagnosis of Long QT Syndrome (LQTS) are needed for participation in a study of Quality of Life in Persons with LQTS. Participation takes 60-75 minutes to complete paper-and-pencil questionnaires about quality of life, thoughts feelings, and behaviors relating to medical care, emotional and social aspects of living with LQTS. Study participation is ANONYMOUS. Participants will receive a $10 gift card to Target or WalMart (both can be used online) when questionnaires are returned.

This study is being led by Stephanie Felgoise, Ph.D., ABPP at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in collaboration with Vicki Vetter, MD, at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. To participate or ask questions about the study, please email the study team lqtstudies@pcom.edu

- Family history of unexpected, unexplained sudden death under age 40.
- Fainting or seizure during exercise, excitement or startle.
