Holiday Season
Getting Involved this Holiday Season
Are you looking for a way to volunteer for the SADS Foundation and to celebrate the holidays this month? Ugly sweater parties are a fun and hip way to raise money and share awareness this holiday season. Here are some tips to throw a memorable party.
SADS Ugly Sweater Party
Tips to having a great fundraising party
The Ugly, Uglier and Ugliest Sweater!
The first thing you’ll need are some ugly sweaters. Get creative with local thrifts shops and a glue gun.
At your party, you can invite guests to wear their own ugly sweater or you can give them one in exchange for a donation. It’s like charging an entry fee to your party, where each guest covers the cost of admission with a donation, and gets an ugly sweater in exchange.
Promote Your Party!
Get the word out! Tell people all about your party and why you’re having it. Share your story! Don’t forget to let people know why they should donate. You can link our
donate page
on evites.
Request informational materials
to share and raise awareness about SADS.
Have an Awesome Ugly Sweater Party!
Share the photos you took during the event with guests. Post the pics on our
facebook page
or social media with
#greatestgifts
. Show everyone how much fun was had at your ugly sweater party!
