The Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes (SADS) Foundation maintains a national Physician Referral list made up of physicians (primarily electrophysiologists) who are knowledgeable about and interested in the Long QT Syndrome and other ion channelopathies that can cause sudden cardiac arrest in the young. We provide referrals from this list to families who request a physician, a second opinion, or a physician in their area to evaluate their condition. We provide many referrals to individuals and families each month. We invite you to become a SADS Referral Physician and receive referrals from us.
As a member of the SADS Physician Referral list, you will receive referrals according to their proximity to your office. We will notify you every time we give your name/contact information to a patient. We ask that you also e-mail us if you do see this person/family.
You will receive newsletters and informational materials for you and your patients. You will also be a part of the SADS Referral Network and, as such, will have a chance to interact with other physicians in the Network and to influence SADS programs in public awareness and research. Periodically, we may also ask you to be one of our “experts” for a speaking engagement, on a panel discussion or on our website.
As a member of the SADS Foundation Physician Referral Network, we ask that you:
Thank you very much for your time. We hope you to hear from you soon. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 801-272-3023.
