Bring your family and friends for a day of ALL YOU CAN EAT food, DJ, raffles, cash bar, and a softball game in honor of Philip!
Philip Rotella, 18, of Guilderland, passed away unexpectedly of Cardiac Arrhythmia and Mild Cardiac Hypertrophy. He was an active teenager with a bright future ahead of him. Our family didn’t have any history of inherited arrhythmias and
Philip had shown no signs or symptoms of heart problems; he never experienced a fainting spell or shortness of breath, which is usually attributed to sudden cardiac arrhythmia. Prior to Philip’s death, his blood pressure had been elevated. He never received an EKG and tests were not performed to determine the cause. Tragically,
on January 25th, Philip’s life ended too early and our lives were changed forever. We lost a wonderful son, brother, grandson and friend. He is missed every minute of every day and his memories will be honored as well as treasured. Our mission is to raise awareness of SADS (Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome) and much needed funds for research and to stop this silent killer as well as support families affected by SADS.
Admission: $20 (Children 12-under $5.00 )
