Dear Jorge,

As you're taking your summer vacations and relaxing before the start of the busy fall season, we at SADS want to let you know about our plans for the rest of the year.

More Seminars-and Dr. Ackerman will return on Saturday

Last year we were able to have one GRAND seminar with Dr. Ackerman, and it went so well we decided to have MORE this year. This year we will have several wonderful professionals coming from all over to educate us on topics ranging from "Channelopathies" to "How to deal with your child's school". Included this year is a hands-on course for CPR and the use of an AED. This year at SADS we have been trying to educate more and more families on the importance of having their family pedigrees done, so have included a seminar on just that as well.

If all that doesn't entice you to come join us from the 9th to the 12th of July, we will again be having our GRAND seminar on the 12th with Dr. Ackerman. Come join us for the day!

The Line-up

  • Dr. Mike Ackerman - Mayo Clinic
  • Dr. Chris Anderson - Northwest Center of Congenital Heart Disease
  • Dr. Susan Etheridge - Primary Children's Medical Center
  • Dr. Terry Chun - Seattle Children's Heart Center
  • Kathy Conlin R.N. - Sacred Heart's Children's Hospital
  • Alice Lara R.N. - Director of SADS

Fun And Games

In addition to learning and networking, this year we plan on having lots of FUN! The Alta Crystal Resort provides nightly bon-fires, a fascinating Mt. Rainier movie and trivia night, and on Thursday low cost BBQ (I heard it was Superb!!!).

Besides the regular nightly activities provided by the resort there are plenty of other fun, outdoor, family activities including hikes, vista lookouts, sports areas, and indoor fun and games. The resort features a Frisbee golf course and can provide information for horseback riding, biking, and fishing. This year we plan on having several group activities, so come and join is for some FUN AND GAMES!
