Physician decision making with children and adolescents diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome
An examination of physician decision making with children and adolescents diagnosed
with Long QT Syndrome.
Expert clinicians in treating persons with LQTS are needed for a research study examining physician’s decision making regarding medical and behavioral treatment recommendations for LQTS patients. Participation requires a one hour phone, Skype, or in-person interview (if in the greater Philadelphia region). All participant’s identifying information will be remain confidential. Interested participants should reply to lqtstudies@pcom.edu or the LQTS Studies research office at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) at 215-871-6464, with their names and contact information (phone number or email) to learn more and make arrangements for participation. Participants are being recruited from a variety of societies, online sites, and hospitals.
This study is being conducted to partially fulfill requirements for a PsyD in Clinical Psychology at PCOM for Julie Radico, MS, MS, under the advisement and direction of Stephanie H. Felgoise, Ph.D., ABBP, and Victoria Vetter, MD, MPH, MSPH. The study is approved by PCOM's institutional review board.
